Gai Xiaohui, born in Yantai, Shandong Province, graduated from the University of International Business and Economics with a doctorate degree in International Law.Her research interests include law of the sea, environmental law, tort law and economic law.She has published a number of academic papers in CSSCI and other journals, such as "Compensation for pure economic Losses in Marine Oil Pollution Cases" and "Dilemma of Civil Relief for narrow Environmental Damage and Institutional Redemption".
