On September 21, the 66th anniversary of  Tianjin University of Science and Technology and the founding ceremony of the Law Alumni Association was held in the lecture hall of the C Area of the main building of Hexi Campus.

Jia Qijun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin University of Science and Technology, attended and delivered a speech; Mr. Wang Shiqing, Party Secretary and Executive director of Beijing Yingke (Tianjin) Law Firm, visiting professor of Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Senior consultant of Tianjin University of Science and Technology Law School and alumnus of Tianjin University of Science and Technology, co-founder of Tianjin Oriental Law Firm and director of Practice Discipline Committee, Tianjin Yunheng Commercial Mediation Center functional Party branch secretary, chief mediator, Tianjin University of Science and Technology law School executive dean, lawyer Hou Xiaobing, a 2003 alumnus and a partner of Dongfang Law Firm, attended and delivered a speech.

In his speech, Jia Qijun stressed that the 66 years of development of TUST embodies the wisdom of all TUST people, including alumni. Alumni are the most beautiful business card of TUST, and the most reliable force for the development of TUST.The establishment of the Law Alumni Association of Tianjin University of Science and Technology is an important measure for the university to thoroughly implement and comprehensively promote the rule of law and the management of the university according to law, an important platform to extensively unite and gather alumni and strengthen alumni communication, and an important attempt to integrate industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation and collaborative education.He expressed the hope that the Law Alumni Association will play a good role as a bridge, actively contact and serve alumni, constantly strengthen the ties between alumni and alumni, stimulate alumni vitality, promote cooperation and development, and strive to build a community of development between Alma mater and alumni.

Dean Wu Zhenjun expressed his sincere thanks to the alumni who have been caring and supporting the construction and development of the Alma mater for a long time. Since its establishment 21 years ago, CHL has always adhered to both basic teaching and professional teaching, and constantly improved the education model. Remarkable progress has been made in the construction of teaching staff, first-class professional and curriculum construction, teaching and research development, personnel training, social services and cultural inheritance, and has sent batches of outstanding professional talents to the society.They are valuable assets of the school and an important force for the development of the school.

Wang Weijing, vice dean of CHL, made a report to the work report on behalf of the preparatory group, and read out the constitution of alumni Association of Tianjin University of Science and Technology and the list of members of the first council. In the warm applause, Jia Qijun and Wu Zhenjun jointly inaugurated the "Law Alumni Association of Tianjin University of Science and Technology".

The conference also held the unveiling ceremony of the Grammar School Alumni House. Zhang Haitao, vice president of the Grammar School, and Wu You, a 2016 alumnus, jointly unveiled the Alumni House.The conference also held a donation ceremony for alumni books. Alumnus Hou Xiaobing, a lawyer, donated his book "Comparison and Key Interpretation of New Company Law Provisions". Chen Yunzhi, dean of the library, and Zhang Haitao, vice dean of the School of Grammar, accepted the gift book on stage and issued a donation certificate to Hou Xiaobing.
