To further strengthen the promotion and popularization of Mandarin and better meet the needs of social groups for language proficiency assessment, on September 29, 2025, the Mandarin (Putonghua) Proficiency Test Station of TUST was officially launched and it will conduct the Putonghua Proficiency Test for social candidates for the first time in October, marking the full launch of the social service function of the test station. As the third test station in Tianjin and the only one in Binhai New Area that provides test services for social candidates, the Putonghua Proficiency Test Station of TUST, on the basis of meeting the test needs of its own students, will be based in Binhai New Area, providing professional and convenient test services for the majority of social candidates.
